Call for Nominations for 25 Sports women of the year
Nominate your favorite Sports Woman of the Year to commemorate National Women’s Month 2019
Inside Education is calling on all South Africans to nominate 25 outstanding women in sports to celebrate 25 Years of Democracy and commemorate the 2019 National Women’s Month.
Anti-apartheid struggle stalwart and former president Nelson Mandela once said sport has the power to change the world and saw it as an instrument of unity and nation-building.
“Sport has the power to change the world. Sport can awaken hope where there was previously only despair,” said Mandela.
There are various different categories available for you to nominate in and you can nominate in as many as you like, one time only in the following sport codes: Netball, Football, Athletics, Swimming, Tennis, Rugby, Cricket, Golf, Boxing, Volleyball, Javelin, Skipping rope
Nominations for your favourite sports star closes on 18 August 2019.
